Las Brisas Southwest Steakhouse Lubbock
(From January 2009) A brilliant moonrise over the hacienda’s patio waterfall set the stage for an evening of delights. We raved about our appetizer: an avocado halved, stuffed with seafood, rejoined, panko-breaded, and fried. Amazing. Flavorful Black Angus steaks sizzled in seasoned butter, and almond-crusted tilapia nestled against creamy snow pea risotto. Stacked blue-corn enchiladas topped with white queso and fried eggs were an instant favorite. Bananas Foster, prepared table-side, made a dramatic finish to an altogether pleasant evening.
